KALE IS THE SUPER VEGETABLE!! MORE VITAMINS AND
MINERALS THAN ANY FOOD. I AM FROM THE SOUTH, SO
I LOVE THE BITTER GREENS COOKED WITH BACON, ETC.
THIS IS A SIMPLE AND QUICK WAY OF ENJOYING THIS GREAT
VEGGIE WITH BROWN RICE. THE AMOUNT OF LIQUID YOU ADD
WILL GIVE YOU SOME SAUCE IF YOU LIKE.
1 BUNCH KALE TORN OFF THE RIB AND CUT INTO
SQUARISH PIECES FOR EASY EATING.
1 T CURRY
OLIVE OIL
WATER, WINE, ORANGE JUICE, ETC
I USE A WOK, BUT USE WHAT YOU HAVE. HEAT THE
WOK, ADD THE OIL AND STIR FRY THE KALE, COATING
THE LEAVES WITH OIL, THEN SPRINKLE ON THE CURRY
OR WHAT EVER SUITS YOUR TASTE. TURN THE HEAT
TO LOW ADD THE LIQUID AND COVER. THE MORE
LIQUID, THE MORE JUICE. I LIKE THE KALE DRIER AND
CHEWY WITH THE RICE BECAUSE IT IS MORE "MEATY" AND
FILLING...DARKER AND RICHER IN FLAVOR. THE EXTRA
LIQUID WIL MAKE FOR A MILDER DISH. YUM!
